Your child will be taught in their classroom by a class teacher, aided by a learning support assistant.
In Reception your child will have specialist teachers for PE, Music , Coding, French as well as Forest School.
Structured literacy sessions form the focus of the morning when your child is most alert. Free flow afternoons allow your child to explore and choose based on their interests.
Each September, we welcome new children into Reception.
There are no assessments required to secure a place in Reception. However, your child will be invited to fun and inspiring Taster events several times during the year preceding the proposed academic year of entry. In the past, we’ve offered Winter Forest School tasters and Music & Movement sessions to registered children.
Offers for Reception are made in the Spring Term preceding the proposed academic year of entry. However, if you wish to receive an early offer, please contact our Admissions Team.
Please note that After-School Care is provided until 18:00 and is to be paid separately to the tuition fees.
